Biography

AZ.Namusn.Art is constituted by Riccardo Fadda (1976) and Pietro Pintadu (1980), arose in Porto Torres, May 2007, after a public artistic action named "CLEAR LAB", in the public central square of the town. However the AZ.Namusn.Art collective is a fluid group of people that come together to create projects designed to shake the conscience, in order to delineate an artistic journey in everyday life of a society manipulated by the mass-mediatic flood, which lies inside the damage of a narcotized information . In fact, it's a floating collective, because we find inside it different professionals that operate in specific areas, whom, depending on the project, alternate between them.

AZ.Namusn.Art proposes an art of the derailment, which is offered as a "revolutionary" in relations with the too conformist connection Art-Society, Art-Politics, Art-Economics, Art-Nature.

AZ.Namusn.Art acts within the public opinion. It attracts the attention, and then pushes it off the rails of the conventional communication. It uses the same tools of information, to denounce the exploitation and corrode from the inside.
As public art, is primarily a civil art . It does not produce monuments, but "moments". It develops according to the opcode of experience, not to the art object.

For Az.Namusn.Art ethics anticipates the aesthetics. Viral actions are entering the soft belly of society. In short, ideas that arise from the Situationists visionary, but applied with the strategy of the Hip Hop movement. Because Az.Namusn.Art. is a genetic antagonism Not to be confused, however, with a vague ideological militancy. Their work has the exterior character of subversion, but still stays art. If it was not so, it would have be only bad policy and rudimentary sociology. They do not do propaganda. Neither cast messages of salvation. Through the art they suggest unusual points of view on reality. That is the first step toward change.

Az.Namusn.Art, during his career, has made only action of "civil disturbance", anonymous by choice. In this way it has transformed the crisis of their own land (occupational, environmental, ethical) in a permanent creative workshop to give form to an unprecedented artistic overture. In fact, acting in the interstices of a extremely difficult everyday life, it establishes a clear line between legality - as a conformist, or even complicity - and illegal, as the only way to keep a independent expression, exactly because abusive, non-exploitable.

Az.Namusn.Art is not just a militant group, of generic social activism. It is primarily an artistic subject. Here, art is indeed a vehicle for strong themes, but is not called up to solve the revealed problems. Because it's a duty, which points exclusively to a political responsibilities.
